Scientist Found About Back Pain
In the last 20 years, the interest the scientific community has in chiropractic has increased as more and more people have chosen chiropractic care to improve their health. According to an extensive research paper entitled, "Chiropractic in the United States, Training, Practice, and Research" compiled using a grant from the Agency for Health Care Policy and Research (AHCPR); patient satisfaction is bringing people to chiropractic care. The AHCPR investigators realized that as soon as research got underway, studies immediately began to document the major roll chiropractic plays in the care of people with back and neck problems. These studies document high levels of patient satisfaction. Others show that satisfaction in chiropractic for back care is much higher in some aspects than satisfaction in conventional medical treatments.

Celebrities Seek Chiropractic
A recent internet article gave some interesting information on one of the world's most famous faces. For years we've seen and heard in the news about the health challenges faced by Elizabeth Taylor. We've all seen photos of her in a wheel chair and heard about her battle with prescription drugs she had been taking for back pain. It was wonderful to read in this piece that she had sought out the care of a chiropractor with great results. She credits her chiropractor with rehabilitation and recovery from back problems. Miss Taylor is hardly the only celebrity to utilize chiropractic care to regain and maintain her health. Other chiropractic regulars include Warren Beatty, James Earl Jones, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jack Nicholson, Julie Andrews, Jane Seymour, and Mel Gibson.

Don't Let Travel Be Pain in
"Prolonged sitting can wreak havoc on your body," says Dr. Bautch, president of the American Chiropractic Association's Council on Occupation Health. "Even if you travel in the most comfortable car or opt to fly first class, certain pressures and forces from awkward positions can result in restricted blood flow. One of the biggest insults to your system from prolonged sitting is the build up of pressure in the blood vessels in your lower legs."

I'd rather break my arm
I can honestly say, without reservation or fear of someone disagreeing, that a whiplash injury is one of the most painful and most frustrating musculo-skeletal and soft tissue injury a person can receive in an auto accident.
